I can’t thank Julie enough for supporting me with my role of completing my Level 3 Diploma. Coming from a sporting background (Rugby league) and going into a different role of employment working in Children’s social care can be challenging at times. With all your support throughout completing my NVQ this has put me in a much more better place, having more of an understanding around all the role and responsibility that is needed.
I have been working alongside young people in the care sector and I have been able to demonstrate all my learning working alongside younger people age 16-18 in supported accommodation. Preparing the young people for more independent living when turning 18 with a view to live on their own.
During my NVQ I was given a promotion and I am  managing the current home with 3 young people living, managing a team, completing supervisions, Support plans, Risk assessments, team meetings with other professionals arranging the best support for all current young people. My Diploma has certainly helped me with my understanding of Ofsted regulations and many key areas needed for this role.
