As a mature student, I embarked on the NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management, (Children & Young people’s Services). My assessor being Julie Fox, a very interesting lady with so much to offer me in supporting me through my new journey during the following 12 months.

I was into my 3rd unit when my appendix burst, the very same night as I lost my Granddad. Julie was wonderfully supportive and understanding of the crisis that I was going through, it would have been so easy for me to have thrown the towel in, but Julies care and unconditional support kept me going through, always lifting my spirit, with yet another big loss in my life 3 months later a time when my wonderful step dad passed away suddenly, the family pressures mounting and during the next 4 months to finish in completing my NVQ Level 5, Julie supported me encouraging me, bringing me back to focus on poor days and constructively challenging me when I were having doubts of succeeding in gaining my ultimate goal.

Julie was so approachable, and she oozed great passion within her role as an educator, supporter intelligence, passion and her flexibility within her role was always beyond accommodating.

The training that Julie offered me has enabled me to continue to develop and I am now on an Apprenticeship Social Work degree.

I would have to rate Julie Fox as a trainer an outstanding 5 star. An eternally thankful ex-student.
