I have known Julie for almost 3 years. I am the Deputy Manager where Julie was based for most of that time. Julie was a great asset to have around Thomas Owen House. She was not just a trainer, but would also help with any other task around the home when needed, especially if we were short, which was quite often during the covid pandemic. Julie formed amazing therapeutic relationships with the residents & they looked forward to spending time with Julie.
Julie always came in to work with a smile on her face & would light up the room with her positivity. For around 2 years Julie helped me complete my Level 5 management course. It took longer than usual, due to me shielding & covid. However I got there in the end, due to Julies hard work & support. Julie motivated me & was very enthusiastic every single day. Very knowledgeable & excellent at giving examples & explaining things. I would not of been able to complete this without Julies drive and support. They say you always remember a good teacher & that’s so true. Thank you Julie for your support & kindness.
