I completed my level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social care and Children and Young People’s Services with Julie Fox as my assessor.  From the first phone call I felt at ease with my assessor and comfortable in approaching her with any issues I had.  She was always professional, listening to what I had to say and also helping me to understand the questions that were being asked.  She was approachable, amenable and also very supportive of the task I was undertaking.  When I made her aware of my personal circumstances in relation to childcare she would always make sure that the phone calls were at times that would suit my schedule and when we had our face to face meetings she was able to adapt her schedule to mine so that they occurred in my work hours and work place.

Since undertaking my diploma I have found that my confidence level in work has increased.  I am more self-assured, professional in my role as well as determined to go further in my career.  Julie was always supportive of my ability and ambition and made that the forefront of our sessions together as well as feedback for my course work.  She was always at the end of the phone or email with any queries or guidance I needed, always felt like she was happy to hear from me and it never felt like I was intruding.  If I hadn’t contacted her she would always get in touch with me to check in on how I was progressing and if I needed any help.  Without her support and encouragement I would have completed my diploma in the timescale I had set myself.  I have also spoken so highly of her to my work colleagues that another member of staff is now working with her on her own level 5 and some more are considering the venture.

I cannot recommend this service enough and would advise anyone to work with them when possible.  My overall rating is 5 stars.
